Band 8b Head of Clinical Education - Resuscitation
Job summary
An exciting opportunity is available for a suitably qualified health care professional to lead the clinical and educational resuscitation service at UHB. The post holder will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the operational, and educational requirements of the resuscitation service for UHB and any commissioning partners. They will work closely with the Clinical Lead, Resuscitation Services UHB.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with all relevant professions, and translate professional resuscitation requirements to the organisation. Be a highly specialised clinical expert within the field of adult and paediatric resuscitation, having an exceptional practical knowledge of relevant national guidelines and programmes, cognisant of health and safety requirements.
Be an exceptional leader and expert communicator, able to negotiate and articulate complex operational and educational issues. Have an in depth understanding of risk, governance and compliance, able to present complex information and reports at the highest levels within the organisation. Be able to manage multiple complex workstreams with safety and quality at the forefront of any strategic direction.
