Band 2 Clinic Coordinator
Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Clinic Coordinator, who enjoys a challenge. You will be able to work within a team, and with colleagues from multidisciplinary backgrounds, as well as on your own initiative.
The successful applicant will have exceptional organisational skills, with proven experience of working in a busy environment. You will be required a have a flexible and calm approach to work and the ability to prioritise and manage workloads with a high standard of accuracy, working in line with the Trust values of Kind, Connected and Bold.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
You will be required to provide high quality clerical and administrative support as a member of one of our administrative teams. You will act as first point of contact for all patients, both in a busy outpatient environment and in the administrative offices. We are passionate about delivering an excellent service to patients and you will play a crucial role in achieving this.
You will have good interpersonal skills, a polite and courteous manner and a professional attitude. You will have effective verbal and written communication skills, and will enjoy working as part of a team. You will be able to cope under pressure in a busy working environment. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as are good computer skills.

Qualifications

* Good General Education (e.g. GCSE English and Maths A-C) or GCSE Level 9-4
Experience

* Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook)
* Experience of using IT systems
* Experience of working in a busy office / customer care environment
Additional Criteria

* Good communication / customer care skills both written and verbal demonstrating sympathy and compassion
* Standard keyboard / IT skills
* Good organisation skills and ability to multitask
* Good time management skills
* Ability to deal professionally with enquiries from staff, service users and stakeholders
