We are the NHS. We provide the care and services that you, we and our families would want to use.

At University Hospitals Birmingham our teams are committed to building healthier lives -- this starts with our nonclinical support functions. These crucial service delivery teams allow the Trust to function and give first class care to our Teams and Patients.

At The Queen Elizabeth Hospital we perform over thousands of operations a year -- to ensure the success of this service we reply heavily on our admin team - with that we are now expanding this department and have a few vacancies in our team, one at the QEHB and another post at Heartlands to support the wider department.

As part of the invaluable Team, you will be a reliable and committed candidate who will help ensure we are continually adhering to our Trust values of Kind Connected and Bold. Working closely with theatres and reporting to the Office Manager, you as a key member of this team will have a direct and positive impact on how we care for our patients within the hospital.

What's in it for you?

Your responsibilities will include report writing, drafting of letters, and replying to correspondence. In addition, you will book Allocate Shifts, inputting of Annual Leave and schedule appointments using our in-house systems --full training will be provided.

Ideally, you've worked within a similar capacity, with experience in providing all round administration support. Your workload will be varied and with that challenging -- however being able to multitask in an efficient manner whilst maintaining a caring and helpful attitude underpins everything you do - to make a difference to your team and the patients that rely on us to care for them.
