An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to work within the Corporate Nursing Team. Corporate Nursing is the business end of our service to our patients and staff. Whilst our incredible team of dedicated professionals work with patients, we support them in the background with safety, compliance and education. As the two cogs work in tandem, we can provide the best possible care to our patients. Recognising the importance of this, we need to add to this team to best support this critical function. Based at the renowned QE in Birmingham, B15, you will be welcomed by the existing team who will support you from day one. Main duties, tasks & skills required

Your focus will be in your organisational skills, as you will be managing the diaries of the Director of Nursing and the wider Corporate Nursing Team. Your key skills must include a confident ability to manage multiple and complex schedulers. You will use your wealth of secretarial experience to provide 1st class support to the department - this will include minute taking, report writing, data sourcing & be able to work in a proactive manner to plan & organise an effective day. Success in this role will see you as a reliable and committed candidate who has a high attention to detail with the ability to communicate at all levels. Your workload will be varied & with that challenging - you will be able to work proactively to problem solve & work on your own initiative. Being able to multitask in an efficient manner whilst maintaining a caring and helpful attitude underpins everything you do.

Qualifications

Essential

*Typing skills to RSA III standard

*Educated to GCSE (Grade A-C or 4-9) or equivalent in English & Maths

Desirable

*NVQ Level 3 Admin

Experience

Essential

*Relevant senior secretary experience including experience at a PA level

*Minute taking experience

*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

*Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection

Desirable

*To exhibit evidence of continued education and development particularly in terms of word processing / secretarial / administrative skills

*Experience of working within the NHS
