We have exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic and reflective candidate to lead the MRI team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) Birmingham and to work collaboratively with the MRI modality lead for the Heartlands/Good Hope and Solihull sites.

UHB is one of the largest teaching hospital trusts in England, serving a regional, national, and international population. Comprised of multiple sites, the successful candidates will be primarily based at based at QEH.

The Imaging Directorate provides 24/7 service delivery and has an established track record of service re-design and transformation. The new multi-million pound treatment centre at Heartlands (HTC) is now open and a scanner replacement projects is under way at QEH with more in the pipeline.

The Queen Elizabeth MRI imaging dept has 6 inhouse MRI scanners, a jointly run research 3T unit and additional adhoc mobile units. There is a rolling replacement of scanners underway and in imminent project for a jointly run radiotherapy/imaging MRI facility.

Applicants will need to have at least 5 years of MRI experience, proven management experience, evidence of change management, strong interpersonal skills and show evidence of ongoing professional development.

*Education to A-Level standard and/or equivalant

*DCR(R) or BSc(Hons)Diagnostic Radiography

*MSc Level Qualification or equivalent experience

*Post Graduate Qualification in specific specialty

*HCPC Registration

*Teaching and Mentoring Qualification

*Evidence of on-going CPD and reflective practice

*Evidence of substantial management experience

*Evidence of undertaking audit

*Evidence of dissemination of knowledge in wider healthcare organisations
