Job summary

We have full time jobs for Band 4 Nursing Associates with any amount of experience but at UHB we also do things a little differently. Division 3a comprises of our Emergency and Acute Services within the Trust. Currently we have vacancies across the Acute Medical Directorate on each of our Hospital Sites. The Acute Medical Directorate comprises of the Medical Assessment Units (MAU), Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and the Acute Medical Short Stay Wards. With any role within UHB, each post comes with the support of our team and managers. This is extended by support from our School of Nursing, AHPs and Midwifery. Person specification

Qualifications

Essential

GCSE or equivalent to Level 2 Functional Skills Maths & English

NMC registered Nursing Associate

Level 5 Foundation Degree In Health & Care associated with Nursing Associate training

Experience

Essential

Evidence of working in a multi-disciplinary and cross agency work environment under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Experience of providing and receiving complex sensitive information

Experience of managing / prioritising own case load / workload, using initiative

Competent in a range of clinical skills and practices relevant to the scope of practice required

Experience in delegating duties to others

Insight into how to evaluate own strengths and development needs, seeking advice where appropriate

Desirable

Experience of Clinical Audit
