Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest teaching hospital trusts in England, serving a regional, national and international population.

An opportunity has arisen for an 18 month apprenticeship within the Human Resources department. The HR team are looking for a committed individual with excellent IT and communication skills. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are looking to commence a professional career in HR

Main duties, tasks & skills required

The suitable candidate will have the opportunity to study and obtain a Level 3 CIPD qualification whilst gaining valuable HR experience. The apprenticeship will consist of on the job learning with supervision. Applicants must be educated to GCSE or equivalent standard including English language and must pass the Functional skills level 2 assessment in Maths and English in order to be successful for an interview.

*Good IT skills (to includes as a minimum: Word Excel, PowerPoint, HR databases)

*Good typing/word processing skills where speed and accuracy are important
