Job summary

applicant use your experience and expertise in planning, developing and delivering development projects and programmes for the buildings assets portfolio for the Trust.

Along with the Director of Capital Planning and Developments you will be responsible to come up with short to long term planning and development of all capital investment plans and strategies within the Trust physical estates portfolio. This will see you leading from inception to business case submission to project completion and as one of the key members within the overall Capital Planning and Developments team. The development Controlled development plans for each of our hospital campus sites is a fundamental foundation to ensure our buildings, property and land are sustainable into the future for this and the next generation. Main duties, tasks & skills required

To be considered for this role you will be experienced in leading strategic building and property infrastructure programmes -- ideally within large complex organisations. You will be well versed in developing and producing controlled development plans and risk-based investment strategies supporting organisation clinical strategies whilst working at a strategic level with internal and external stakeholders.

To be effective in this role, you will lead on the effective reporting of design, construction, and commissioning activities, relating to the strategic work streams. You will develop and maintain effective communication and networking with key stakeholders within the Trust and in the wider economy in line with the department's strategy. You will have experience in building and developing a team of programme and project managers who will exude the same qualities you possess; great relationship building, skilful production of clear plans and strategies aligning with the organisation's challenges and goals, and passionate delivery of inspirational presentations that engage the audience to gain their support towards the organisation's vision.

Qualifications

Essential

*Masters or First degree and post-graduate qualification(s) and experience equivalent to Masters level (Disciplines may include; quantity surveying, architecture, strategic planning or investment planning)

*Project Management Qualification e.g. Prince 2 or MSP or equivalent relevant experience

*Evidence of continued professional, managerial and personal development
